How to delete your account
- In the app: open Profile › Settings › Delete Account and confirm.
- By email: send a deletion request to [email protected] and include your User ID (shown on the Profile page). If you signed in with Apple, Google or Facebook, send it from the email address linked to that sign-in.
- Guest accounts (used without signing in) have no email address, so we can only identify them by User ID. Deleting in the app is the easiest way.
What happens next
After you submit the request, there is a 7-day cooling-off period. Signing in again during this period cancels the deletion.
Deleted or irreversibly anonymized when the cooling-off period ends
Your account information, sign-in links with Apple, Google and Facebook (we also revoke the Sign in with Apple authorization), preferences, watch history, favorites, likes, follows, reservations, download records, remaining Coins and Reward Coins, unlocked episodes, VIP benefits, and push notification data at OneSignal.
Kept for a limited time and no longer linked to an active account
- Purchase and transaction records: 5 years (Singapore financial and tax requirements)
- Sign-in records (time, network address, approximate location and device): 12 months
- Detailed playback reports: 90 days, after which only statistics that are not linked to individuals are kept
- Server request logs: overwritten on a rolling basis, usually within 30 days
- Customer support conversations: 2 years after the request is resolved
- Reports you submitted: up to 2 years
- Device identifier hash used for the first top-up bonus: kept only to prevent the bonus from being claimed again on the same device; it cannot be used to identify you
- Copies in database backups: deleted with the backups within 30 days
Subscriptions
Deleting the app, signing out or deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it with the store you paid through before you delete your account:
- Apple: Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions, choose BossDrama and cancel. VIP lasts until the end of the current period.
- Google Play: Google Play › Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, choose BossDrama and tap Cancel.
